Maharshi Dayanand University is situated in Rohtak, Haryana. It was set up in 1976 by an Act No. 25 of 1975. It is commonly known as MDU. MDU became an affiliate university in 1978. The Maharshi Dayanand University received ‘A’ Grade from NAAC in July 2013.
The University has a great campus which is spread over an area of 665.44 acres. The campus has 10 teaching blocks and 10 hostels with the capacity of 2500 boys. There are many colleges in the districts of Bhiwani, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Jhajjar, Mahendragarh, Palwal, Rewari, Panipat, Rohtak and Sonipat affiliated under this.
The MDU will also provide both regular and private education for students. The private education is very helpful for the students who didn’t join college due to any region.
